PHOENIX — More documents flooded the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Phoenix on Friday, and the head of Ice Edge insisted his bid is still alive and will viable when the bankrupt Coyotes are sold at auction next week.

PHOENIX — A group led by Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf has offered to buy the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes for US$148 million and keep the team in Arizona.

Coyotes trade Reinprecht to Florida
SUNRISE, Fla. — Centre Steven Reinprecht has signed a three-year contract with the Panthers after the Coyotes traded his rights to Florida for left wing Stefan Meyer.

Panthers assistant general manager Randy Sexton announced the deal with the unrestricted free agent on Friday. Financial terms were not disclosed.
