Oilers, Comrie agree on 1-yr deal
EDMONTON — Veteran forward Mike Comrie is returning to Edmonton.

The Oilers have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the 28-year-old centre.

Comrie was drafted by Edmonton in 1999 and played for the Oilers from 2000 to 2003.

He has also had stops in Philadelphia, Phoenix, the New York Islanders and Ottawa.

He has 154 goals and 184 assists in 525 career games.

Oilers re-sign Schremp to 1-yr deal
Schremp, the Oilers second choice, 25th overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, spent the majority of last season with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League. Appearing in 69 games for the Oilers??? top affiliate, he scored seven goals and 35 assists for 42 points.

Schremp saw action in four games for the Oilers last season collecting three assists, including scoring his first NHL point.

NEWARK, N.J. — The New Jersey Devils have acquired forward Tim Sestito from Edmonton in exchange for a 2010 conditional draft pick and signed free agent goaltender Yann Danis.

The team announced both deals on Friday without providing details.

The 24-year-old Sestito made his NHL debut with the Oilers last season, playing in one game and recording a shot on goal. He spent most of the season with Springfield of the AHL.
