COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed centre Derick Brassard to a US$12.8-million, four-year contract extension.

SUNRISE, Fla. — The Florida Panthers agreed to a six-year contract extension with David Booth, shortly after the young forward became a restricted free agent on Wednesday.

The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Gregory Stewart to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday. Financial terms of the deal were not announced.
